Gina Veazey

Gina Veazey is a publishing and communications consultant with more than 30 years of professional experience as a writer, editor, content strategist, marketer, and public relations practitioner. She consults on publication management and operations; writes on behalf of trade associations, B2B companies, and nationally regarded experts. She also manages publishing and marketing projects on behalf of clients.

Gina was previously the editor in chief of AHIP Coverage, the now-defunct member publication of America’s Health Insurance Plans. She launched Veazey Media following her departure from AHIP in 2009.

​

Since that time, Gina has maintained a large practice in health care. Her knowledge spans topics related to quality measurement, value-based payment, consumer health engagement, reimbursement, revenue cycle, administration, health information technology, care management, clinical topics, and much more.

​

Prior to AHIP, Gina was the editor in chief of publications serving a range of industries and professions and led the communications function for several organizations. In these roles, she:

  • Interviewed world leaders and Fortune 500 C-level executives,

  • Provided strategic communications counsel to executive leadership and boards of directors, and

  • Led industry-wide media relations initiatives.
